Comprehensive hand therapy services in Perth

HULC provides rehabilitation for individuals suffering from a wide range of injuries and conditions affecting the hand, wrist, elbow, and fingers from fractures and dislocations to nerve injuries and tendon repairs. Our occupational therapists are dedicated to restoring function, reducing pain and getting people back to doing what they love as quickly as possible.

Through collaboration, education and advocacy we aim to raise awareness about the importance of hand and upper limb rehabilitation. Our mission is to help you regain function, mobility, and quality of life through evidence-based therapy and personalised treatment plans.

Hand and upper limb rehabilitation

Our Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists provide targeted treatment for people recovering from trauma, surgery, or repetitive strain injuries. Working in close collaboration with surgeons, GPs, and other clinicians, our therapists assess your condition and implement a therapy program tailored to your needs.

We use a combination of exercise prescription, taping, activity modification, and hands-on therapy to reduce pain, improve range of motion, and restore functional use of your limb.

We use a variety of instruments such as thermoplastic orthoses, nerve gliding exercises, and progressive strengthening programs to promote healing and return to activity. Your therapy may involve splinting, manual therapy, or neuromuscular retraining, depending on the clinical assessment.

Every step of the way, we ensure you’re involved in your care. Together, we build a rehabilitation journey that’s uniquely yours.
