Jill began her health care career in nursing after graduating from The University of Notre Dame Australia with a Bachelor of Nursing in 2012. Jill worked at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital in acute neurosurgery and in gastrology, renal and hepatology; before commencing work in private practice.
Working alongside occupational therapists sparked an interest, and Jill began further study at Curtin University, graduating with a Master of Occupational Therapy midyear of 2017. Throughout her studies, Jill became focused on hand therapy, solidifying this interest during a student placement at HULC earlier in 2017. Jill completed a locum in mental health before joining the HULC team in 2017, working in administration and hand therapy.
Jill is active in the hand therapy community, attending Occupational Therapy Association of WA Hand Interest Group meetings and Australian Hand Therapy Association (AHTA) state meetings. Jill is an Associate Member of AHTA and is working towards her full membership.
