Our Introduction

Catherine McCutcheon

Catherine graduated from Curtin University in 2005, after studying a Masters in Occupational Therapy. Catherine then started working in the Hand and Upper Limb Rehabilitation unit of the Royal Perth Hospital for six months before moving into private practice, joining Specialised Hand Therapy Services (SHTS), where she practiced for three years.

In 2009 Catherine enjoyed a year overseas. Then in 2010, having relocated to Melbourne, Catherine joined a private hand therapy clinic, Resolve Hand Therapy.

Catherine returned to Perth in early 2011 and joined SHTS again, before joining HULC in February 2017 as a Senior Occupational Therapist.

Catherine is a full member of the Australian Hand Therapy Association and Certified Hand Therapist (CHT), who has almost ten years clinical experience, including 4,000 hours or more in direct practice in hand therapy. In addition, Catherine has successfully passed a comprehensive test of advanced clinical skills and theory in upper quarter rehabilitation.

Catherine is an active member of the hand therapy community and has presented various educational seminars, as well as attended numerous advanced training courses.
