HUGE congratulations to Taya Klisowski, one of our fabulous hand therapists, for being awarded her full AHTA membership in record time. Therapists are eligible to apply following 3 years of full time hand therapy practice and attaining 300 continuous professional development points.

Taya rapidly accumulated these points during the first 3 years of her career making her one of the quickest applicants to achieve the full AHTA membership in Australia!

“I was able to achieve this thanks to the extensive learning opportunities and partial funding provided by the Hand and Upper Limb Centre (HULC),” explains Taya.

This, combined with her dedication to stay up to date with the latest hand therapy trends, and drive to contribute towards research in hand therapy, keeps Taya enthused and she aims to publish a journal article in the near future.
